One of the things that we offer in our office is a variety of chiropractic techniques that help us to tailor an individual program of care for each patient.
Each technique has something unique to offer:
Diversified
This technique is also known as a “manual technique”. It has one of the longest track records of success in chiropractic history and provides reliable results for patients of all ages.
Activator Method®
This technique is known as an “instrument adjusting technique.” This method delivers a very low-thrust force.
SOT (Sacro-Occipital Technique)
This is described as a “non-thrust technique.” SOT is designed to help normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head.
The Bottom Line
We want you to be very comfortable whenever you’re receiving an adjustment in our office. This is why we often apply a soothing modality (such as ultrasound) to the spine prior to an adjustment for the purpose of:
- Relaxation
- Decreasing muscle tension
- Softening muscle tissue
Our Goal
Our purpose is always to make your treatment effective and pleasant.
Whether you prefer a manual therapy, an instrument technique or a non-thrust approach, you never have to feel apprehension about treatment with us! Call today!

I have been going to Dr. Capps for many years and I have always been satisfied with the results. I have had many back and neck adjustments by Dr. Capps and I go once a month now for maintenance, I think this keeps me feeling well. My own son is a chiropractor and he stresses to me the importance of getting an adjustment each month for maintenance. I highly recommend Dr. Capps and after all these years I would not seek out another chiropractor.

Thank you, Maxine. I only wish your wonderful son was closer so I could enjoy all the great benefits of his adjusting expertise.
